Melissa Ann Taylor presents her Spring/Summer 2023 Collection on the runway in an enchanted evening cocktail party.
Dallas has serious money and a serious fashion vibe. I know when you say high-end fashion, the thought is of cities like New York, Milan, and Paris. Of course that’s true but there are also some incredible fashion designers at local levels in cities like Austin (no, seriously) and Dallas. The talented and lovely Melissa Taylor is one example. She is presenting her second runway show in Dallas. Her designs are ethereal but with an edge to them.
Set in a minimalist dreamscape, Melissa’s airy Spring/Summer collection answers the heavy Texas heat with drifting natural fibers and sharp edges. Linen and silk find a new freshness in architectural fits and fluttering drapery. Inspired with a hint of Victorian melancholy, Melissa’s sharp tailoring and liquid movement bring romance and functionality to her elegant grunge silhouettes.
Live music will accompany the runway show followed by an afterparty dj set to close out the night.
