When traveling, especially solo, your gear is essential. That doesn’t mean it has to cost you a fortune though! Choosing your equipment is personal but also needs to fit the type of travel you’re doing. If you’re hauling butt across a busy airport, a ginormous tote bag or purse slung over your shoulder might not be your friend but I always see women lugging these monster totes. Don’t be that guy, er, girl.
Taking a cruise and don’t have to worry about airplane travel to get to port? The “rule” is “if you can carry it, you pack it.” (That’s not totally true) but having efficient, multipurpose bags or totes is a great idea for embarking and hauling your newfound treasures from your different port visits.
When traveling to some areas, security will be as much an issue as durability, weight, and capacity.
